Guidelines for applying Artists
There are several ways artists wanting to show artwork at Market Street Gallery can apply, and each way is unique with regards in how to apply. Please read the following information carefully to determine which way is best for you.
Solo Artist Exhibition
Market Street Gallery hosts solo exhibitions by emerging and mid-career artists several times per year. Solo shows are scheduled approximately one year in advance and eligible artists who have submitted an application packet are reviewed quarterly.
An application packet consists of the following
• Completed Application Form
• 10-15 slides of proposed work to be shown or A CD-ROM containing 10-15 digital, saved as JPG, images sized 600-800 pixels at a 200 dpi resolution
• An accompanying slide or digital image checklist
• 100 word artist statement or proposal concerning the submitted work
• Current artist resume
